After experience as Advertising Manager and Director of Marketing Communications for major process industry manufacturing companies, Tom has spent the second part of his career with agencies serving industrial and business-to-business clients. With agencies, Tom has broadened his experience across multiple markets and technologies. His undergraduate degree in engineering, along with M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in English, have made him uniquely suited for technology markets.

An active outdoorsman, Tom and his family spend their leisure time canoeing, kayaking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing.
